Cycle Overview
The SDMH EQAS is a structured quality assessment process designed to evaluate Blood Centre performance through standardized samples and peer comparison. It ensures continuous improvement and compliance with national and international quality standards.
Enrollment & Registration
Participating blood centres enroll in the SDMH EQAS programme and are assigned a unique alphaneumric participant identification code. Centres may opt for relevant Programs such as TTI screening, Immunohematology, and NAT testing.
Cycle Frequency
SDMH EQAS programme is conducted on a quarterly basis (March, July, and November), with each cycle uniquely identified to enable systematic tracking, performance monitoring, and benchmarking.
Confidentiality
All information pertaining to participants of the EQAS programme is treated as strictly confidential.
• The identity of participating Blood Centres is CONFIDENTIAL will not be disclosed without prior written permission of the Participant.
• Results are used solely for the purpose of quality assessment, performance evaluation, and continuous improvement.
• Individual Blood Centre performance reports are shared only with the respective participant.
